Questions testers actually ask.

Straight answers about how Potaflow works.

When I hit submit, does it go directly to the water district?
Yes, automatically. Potaflow detects the correct water district from the site address, generates your DOH-1013 PDF, and delivers it instantly. If the district has a Potaflow portal, it goes there. If not, Potaflow sends the form to the district via email on your behalf with a timestamped delivery record. Either way you have proof of submission.
Does the customer get notified after I submit?
Only if your company has opted into customer email notifications, it's not on by default. You're in control of whether your customers receive a copy.
What happens if a district rejects my form?
You'll see the rejection and the district's notes in your dashboard. From there you can submit a corrected version it opens the original form pre-filled with your data so you don't have to start from scratch. The corrected version replaces the original in the compliance record.
What do I need to sign up?
Just your name, email, and a password. No certification number at registration. Your NYS certification number and test kit info are entered when you start your first form. Signup takes under 2 minutes.
Which water districts does Potaflow support?
Potaflow currently supports 24 Nassau County water districts all accepting electronic DOH-1013 submissions. If your district isn't listed, Potaflow can still submit on your behalf via email with timestamped delivery. Contact us to add your district.
Do I still need to send a paper copy?
No. All 24 supported districts accept electronic submissions. Potaflow's timestamped delivery record serves as your proof of submission. You can download and print your PDF from your dashboard at any time if needed.
Does it work on my phone in the field?
Yes, Potaflow runs in any modern browser, no app store download required. Works on phone, tablet, or desktop. Forms auto-save as drafts so if you lose connection mid-form, your data isn't lost. Submissions queue and retry automatically when you're back online.
Is it really free? What's the catch?
Completely free during early access, no hidden fees. Testers who sign up now lock in the founding rate of $99/year starting September 1, 2026. That rate is guaranteed for as long as you stay subscribed. New pricing takes effect in 2027 for new signups. No per-test fees, ever.
Is Potaflow only for Nassau County?
Right now yes, Potaflow is built specifically for Nassau County, NY and the DOH-1013 form. Other New York counties and states are on the roadmap. If you're outside Nassau County but deal with DOH-1013 submissions, reach out we want to hear from you.
What happens to my data if I stop using Potaflow?
